Julio already showed signs of what was to come, but few saw that he was going to become one of this country’s top pastry chefs. After a period of training with Paco Torreblanca, he soon decided to open his own business accompanied by his wife Alejandra. Recognition of his mastery came with the achievement of the “Best Spanish Pastry Chef” award in 2012. All his creations are first-rate, but his puff pastry, fine chocolates and semifreddos are worthy of special mention.
