Mc loco hamburgers

Here we have an original, fun proposal that comes to show that not all hamburgers are the same. To start with, at La Malta del Loco, they make everything themselves, even the bread in this recipe.

Start off by mincing the meat (without a doubt, the best way of doing this is with a knife) together with the duck liver and the caramelized onion, but without mincing the ingredients too finely. Season with salt and pepper and shape to around the size of the bread buns you are going to use. This is of vital importance for the dish to be well balanced.

While the hamburgers are being cooked, fill the hamburger buns with caramelized onion, walnuts and Brie cheese. Once the hamburgers have been browned on the griddle or in a frying pan, place them on top of the other ingredients.

And the final trick is to place them in the oven; first, to toast the bread a little and, second, so that the hamburger is nice and hot and juicy.

In the case of this novel gastro bar, they are accompanied by a little rocket salad and some fries. Rocket is best served at the side of the hamburger, as it will lose its texture and presence if baked. These are just some tips to not get you muddled. A youthful, enjoyable dish, to not drive you crazy.
